CHARLIE CURTIS
Siteworks Live is founded and led by Charlie Curtis. An operationally focused events professional with a first-class degree in Events Management and over 7 years of hands-on experience at some of the UK's most prominent festivals and live events.
Charlie began his career on the ground as a Production Assistant and rapidly progressed into senior operational leadership roles, working directly under company directors across operations, logistics and marketing. He has since delivered or contributed to over 200 events — from 1000 to 100,000 capacity.
Having worked across Site Management, End-To-End Festival Operations, Accreditation, Bar Operations, Gate Management, Transport Coordination, etc., Charlie brings a well-equipped, multi-disciplinary experience that allows Siteworks Live to tackle a wide range of operational challenges with structure and confidence.
Siteworks Live was founded with a clear purpose: to give festival organisers and event companies access to senior operational expertise — without the overhead of a large agency.

Progressed through multiple senior roles as the festival grew from 20,000 to 100,000 capacity. Responsibilities spanned site coordination, accreditation management, and senior operations delivery.
Delivered multiple senior operational roles across several years as the festival grew from 15,000 to 40,000 capacity — including full site management at 20,000 cap in 2025.
40+ live shows across a year at one of Manchester's leading live music venues. Led pre-show safety briefings, managed operational incidents, and created CAD layouts for varying show formats.
Coordinated transport logistics for over 2,100 athletes across 4 race formats. Managed 16 volunteer teams and delivered pre-event training for all drivers including comms briefings and route planning.
Three consecutive years (2023, 2024, 2025) managing main gate and VIP gate operations at one of the UK's biggest festivals. Oversaw large teams of volunteers, security and ticket scanners.
Managed bar build, live operations and break across five 7,000-capacity shows. Oversaw stock distribution, keg and spirit forecasting, and multi-bar team coordination.

The venue was great — I loved the music, the atmosphere, the staff were friendly. The queues at the bar went really quickly, the toilets were always clean, there were water taps throughout. Nothing to complain about at all.
